Conservatory of music
Weekly musical instruction with out talented faculty is at the core of the Conservatory of Music. Progress is assessed each semester through juries, master classes, progress reports, recital, concerts, and competitions. Students can choose from the following studios:
Guitar (Classical, Jazz, Blues, Pop)
Piano (Classical, Jazz, Blues, Pop)
Strings (Violin, Cello, Double Bass)
Voice (Broadway, Opera, pop/RnB)
Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion
Weekly Individual Lessons

Chamber Music Studies
We believe chamber music helps students develop into complete musicians. In our Chamber Music Program, musicians are mentored by world-renowned music coaches that teach the art of following, leading, and playing together with extreme sensitivity. Offered to the most talented students is the opportunity to join the Avakas Conservatory Quartet (ACQ) a professional chamber ensemble.
Ear-Theory & Music History
The Conservatory offers courses in music theory, ear training, and music history that are designed to expand musical knowledge through weekly group classes. Students learn the basics of harmony, form, analysis, composition, improvisation, and music history through leveled courses designed to challenge and engage each student.
Ear Theory Beginner - Grades 1-8, Tuesday from 5 PM - 5:30 PM
Ear Theory Intermediate - Grades 5-12, Wednesday from 5PM - 5:45 PM
Conservatory instructors are renowned musicians, artists, and academics committed to providing out students with the highest in music education. Master classes allow students to play in front each other while learning from a Master instructor. We bring world class professionals to conduct master classes throughout the school year.
